rusty mcdowell

Rusty joined The Oxymorons a little over two years ago with no previous improv stage experience. He had, however, years of training in tomfoolery and hijinks at Catholic school.

Russ has lived in San Antonio for just four years. Prior to moving to the Alamo City, he spent 5 years in Alabama observing rednecks in their native habitat. Russell is a recovering English major and aspires to be a cowboy, a ballet dancer, or both. Mr. McDowell is thankful for the opportunity to perform improv comedy every week, as it satiates the void he used to feel from the absence of his childhood dog, Morrie.
