I got interested in theater in middle school. I'm not sure if the actual interest happened when I was in elementary school as I did enjoy my part in the Christmas play. I was the one with the upside down wings! I really coveted the part of the Valentine Queen in second grade, but I lost to Marie Kanes. You see, she sold more candy than I did, and that is how you got the part. Of course it was really her Dad who sold the candy so he should have been the Valentine Queen. Come to think of it he was a bit effeminate.

In high school and college I was in several plays and speech contests. Then I got a job and suddenly didn't have any free time so I took a hiatus. I worked my way up the job ladder to buyer and manager, started doing local theater and became one of the founding members of the OXY-morons, twelve years ago. I have also made training videos and some commercials.

I am married. I won my husband in a game of cards. We have two very active little boys, a senile dog, a gerbil, and three fish. My oldest son, Dallas, was scrooge in "A Christmas Carol" this year and he didn't have to sell any candy to get the part! I am a stay at home Mom now, keeping the kids from killing each other and the dog from eating the gerbil.
